The stress of BIN
Permalink Closed

There are these awesome boots on eBay that I've been watching for the last few days. There is a BIN option for $50 and the boots are listed at $22. There's 3 more hours and still no bids..

I am going to be pissed if someone uses the BIN, but at the same time I dont' want to use it and then spend twice as much than I may have to.

*stress*

What would you do?

well it's my understanding that the BIN goes away when there's a bid, so if you want the boots, maybe bid only the amount of the auction and see what happens?

i'd wait, but i'm guilty of waiting-and-seeing-if-the-price-drops-in-the-relisting.

if it's that close to the end of the auction, i doubt that anyone's going to spring for a BIN price that's more than twice the opening bid.

it stays if the bid doesn't meet the reserve price.  if there's no reserve, the BIN goes away
