eBay is SERIOUSLY annoying me
Permalink Closed

I keep getting messages to my e-mail that "items have been relisted" but when I click on the message, it's for items I wasn't even watching. This is happening daily. WTF???

Can anyone shed some light on this and how to make them stop???

haha I have both problems. But I consider sending me fake "relisted" message, to solicit me for crap I could care less about to be much more irritating.

I was just checking my ebay account and I had a message about fake second chaned or relisted offers. These are not from ebay they are scammers!! Be careful about clicking those links or logging on through those links. I handle fraud claims at work constantly where this has happened to people on ebay and paypal. Just thought I would share. Best thing to do is report those emails as spam, and only use ebay links that you know are real! Just want to make sure the ST girls are safe.

I don't know, but I'm joining the ebay sucks bandwagon. Someone broke into my account and listed a bunch of stuff for sale. I didn't even know it was happening because I was on vacation this past week and unable to go online. I get back tonight and see about 50 questions from potential buyers about items I haven't listed. Then, sign into my account and see a bunch of random stuff I didn't list. I think it's all taken care of now, but seriously....WTF?

^^I've had questions about my "listings" before, but I've never actually logged into my account only to find that I have things listed!  Weird!  And scary.

I get a lot of "question from ebay member" that will say something like "thanks for the second chance offer.  how would you like to receive payment?" and stuff  like that.

to add to my ebay annoyance, i'm starting to get e-mail from sellers who are responding to questions i apparently asked them.  what the heck?  i didn't even visit their auction listings.

my ebay account got hacked into a few years ago, so this is starting to worry me.

I get a lot of "ask a seller" questions and I don't even have anything listed for sale.  The funny thing is that they say they are really interested in my item, it's just what they are looking for but don't mention what the item is and ask how much shipping is.  They just want you to click the fake ebay link in their e-mail so they can get your info.
