There's a mini-riot going on over at The Purse Forum due to the order cancellations. Those girls say that if you call up Bloomies and say your order got cancelled, you can get a code/coupon for 40% off anything.

I came, I saw, I did a little shopping.
I would be so pissed! Couldn't they come up with a better computer system that immediately removes the item after the last one has been purchased? I know that may be difficult because probably 100 people were buying it at the same time.

Yup. I got a regularly priced $425 DVF dress for $255.
I would caution anyone considering purchase of furniture through Bloomingdales to think twice. My experience was that this store is eager to take your money for a sale, but the service after the sale is problematic to say the least.I purchased several thousand $s of furniture for my new condo. One chair had to be ordered. The rest of the pieces were floor model sales. When my pieces were delivered a few days after purchase, I noted that there was not enough room for the additional chair which was on order from a different store in their chain.I immediately called and asked to cancel and get a refund.Several weeks later and multiple calls later I still havent received my $ back.Additionally I have been told for the second time that my refund has been put into their system (after having been told the same thing a few weeks prior). They are unable to give me a refund in their store, and do not have any management on hand to meet a disgruntled customer. They have only low level employees at their customer no-service desk.I will never set foot again in a Bloomingdales, and caution anyone considering purchase of items of furniture from that store.
I think some members here had some problems with their site a few years ago. I've never ordered anything from them online because I've never heard anything good about them. Sorry you're having such a hard time!
I HEART bloomies but HATE their website. They could use a redesign and they need to upgrade their system stat. I've had problems at least four or five times with things being out of stock. That said, I still shop their online site occasionally and have gotten lucky a few times & scored some great deals. They also have pretty good coupons that are hard to resist. I got one for $50 off a $100 purchase last month just for filling out one of their customer surveys.
