So I purchased a top from an ebayer and paid via paypal on 7/11. I havent gotten the top yet. Ive been emailing with the seller and they said they shipped it. THe last email I got, the seller said that he will go to the post office to track the package and we will stay in contact until i get the package. FIrst off, I was just thinking why do you have to go to the post office to trakc the package when you could do it online or over the phone. Second of all after that last email I emailed him back like 3 times asking about any updates and have not gotten any response. I paid part of the purchase with my credit card through paypal and part with my paypal money. The seller did not offer insurance. Im worried that if the seller did purchase delivery confirmation they would have proved to have sent the package and perhaps it got lost in the mail...then I might not be able to retrieve my money back. Should I give the seller the benefit of the doubt and wait at least till the beginning of next week. I keep hoping that iwill get a package in the mail. I cant believe this is happening again...i hateeee ebay!!!!!!!!!! thanks for any advice.
I don't know what the post office would be able to do if the seller didn't originally purchase some sort of insurance or tracking.
If you don't get the package, and the seller didn't track, then it's the seller's fault and I believe that according to eBay policies they have to refund you.
What type of shipping did they use? Find out estimated delivery times for that type of shipping and then wait till the end of that period. Then, file a claim.
Seller claimed he mailed it 7/18 parcel post which is 2-9 days. It is passed 9 days already. Should I try calling the seller and ask for a refund? And then file a claim if he doesnt take any action. Thanks!

Time to file a claim! Sounds like you've emailed enough as is.
