One (funny, now) thing I forgot to mention - I would not recommend wearing 4 inch heels for 8 hours without sitting down to my worst enemy. We started pics a couple hours before the ceremony so dress and shoes went on then, and I couldn't sit down in my dress without the train being bustled. Then after it was bustled, we spent a majority of the reception on our feet, going around to each individual table and greeting people. I sat for about 10 minutes total of our reception, just long enough to shovel some food in my face.
My feet were so swollen at the end of the night that I could barely work them under the straps of my floppiest flip flops. They took 3 days to return to a normal size . I've never suffered for beauty so much in my life!

Your tent reception looks so pretty! We haven't found a venue for our reception yet, and we have been thinking about doing a tent. Is there anything you would change about having an outdoor reception?

I would have changed the weather ! The tent at our venue is a permanent one, so it had real windows, doors, and most importantly, air conditioning! All the lights and chandeliers are permanent as well, so we didn't really have to do anything to it at all, which was important to me. Outfitting a tent from scratch would have been a much more involved (and expensive) process.
Find a venue that's pretty all on it's own - otherwise you'll just spend an arm and a leg on flowers and decorations trying to make up for what it's lacking.
