I put my brothers Xbox up for sale on Ebay today. And it has no bidders and no watchers yet.  I started it at 49.99.  I just got an email from ebay bidder from India offering to pay 580 dollars and pay for all shipping through his Fed Ex account, he would have Fedex send a shipping label and everything.  And payment would be through Western Union.


Should I go through with this?

sounds like a total scam. i'd ignore.

I agree. There are LOTS of scams going around that involve Western Union. I would not even respond to the message.

I agree it is a scam. I don't think anyone in India would pay that much for an xbox on ebay when I am sure they could just order it online from a regular store.

I believe the exact same offer was sent to me when I sold my old Xbox.  I did not reply of course, I forwarded it to ebay for fraud investigation.
