So I sold two pairs of the JS Barbs to Britain. Yah, I probably shouldn't have dealt with international shipping in the first place. But anyways, I mailed them with USPS Global Priority, and told them so in the invoice. The problem is that they have not recieved the packages. Global Priority does not offer any tracking what so ever, so if my buyers never recieve their shoes, what should I do?? They did not pay for the insurance which was optional. Do I need to refund them, even if that leaves me $250 down for two pairs of shoes I paid for and $50 in shipping?? Grr I won't ship internationally anymore.
I don't think you are under any obligation to refund them. They had they chance to buy the insurance and decided to risk it, so unfortunately they are shit outta luck if the packages never show.
How long has it been since you sent them? Sometimes global mail can be alot sloooooower than it's supposed to be ...

It said for the shipping method that it would take 4-6 business days. It has been 8. I guess it hasn't been that long, but longer than the supposedly guaranteed 6 days max. I hope the shoes do arrive, and I don't have to deal with dispute resolution and negative feedback.
I think you should give it a couple more days. It isn't your fault they got lost, and it's also possible that the person you sent them to is a scammer and did receive the shoes and is just saying they didn't so they can also get their money back. They made the choice not to get insurance - offering it to them was the extent of your liability IMO.
If you don't already, I'd put something on your auctions that states specifically that once you have sent it you no longer accept responsibility for anything that happens to it. And if you'd still like to continue to mail internationally, you could also just include insurance in the shipping price so it's required.

I agree w/Elle, since they turned down insurance, you are in the clear. Also, I'm sure the packages are just held up in customs and will eventually get there.
Give it a little more time. I have family in England and it always takes longer to get the package then it is suppose to. I
You don't need to give them a refund. Don't be a slave to negative feedback. People realize there are jerks on ebay and if you other feedback is postive than I do'nt think it will effect you.
