i want to sell some clothes that are about 6 - 3 years old on ebay, but wonder if anyone will be interested in something that was in stores back then. do i need to say, for example, "never worn trina turk dress from 2002"? thanks in advance!
Yes! As long as they are in good condition and not too trendy, you shouldn't have a problem. I personally have looked on ebay for older items when something I LOVED and had forever got ruined or didn't fit anymore and I wanted to try to replace it.
yeah, as long as you have some good recognizable brands. Gosh it hurts to acknowledge that clothes from 2002 are "older," sometimes I still think of the late 90's as only a couple years back.

Yes, I've had a lot of success selling older clothes. In fact, most of the clothing I've sold has been items that I had 3 or 4 years and haven't worn. It works particularly well if the item is of a recognizable brand and hasn't been worn much. I'm usually pretty specific about it..."Worn once, hand washed once" or something.
Last year I sold a Betsy Johnson dress I bought in 2001 and I got 80% of what I paid for it!
That's awesome, Luckylily! This morning I just posted my first attempt at selling something (a Banana Republic silk floral top from two years ago). I don't expect a lot for it; I wanted to start small and learn how the whole process works.
