I was quite productive during my trip this last week - I visited our venue (for the first time in person!) for the food tasting and selected our menu, did our cake tasting and settled on the shape/size as well as flavors, found bridesmaid dresses, found a dress and shoes for my mom, and had my hair and makeup trial.  Whew!


And, my shoes and my remaining invitation supplies arrived while I was away.  Yippie!


Here's the dress the BMs chose - It looks so good on them!

well, i have narrowed it down to 4 dresses ( in my post )  and picked my BM dresses.  they are vera wang so i can't post them.  but if anyone cares, they are cocktail length, color of #4 and style of #12.  under $200 too.  i registered.  now, i'm working on the guest list, save the date cards, and trying to decide on cake flavors.

Thanks!  I was a little disappointed that it didn't stay put as well as I'd hoped for though.  I'm going to attempt my own recreation, and if that works out I'll probably just do my own hair.  If I can't get it to look right, I think I'll ask the stylist to make the looped sections smaller, like maybe half the size they are in the pic, and that way it might be a little more secure.

well this week i had a little problem with my bm dresses.  i had to return them all.  i had originaly asked my sister and 5 of my friends to be bm's.  well one of my friends was not going to be able to make it out to be a bm and now she is going to be able to do it.  so we don't have enough dresses.  so we returned them and started the hunt all over again. 


i did get my invites ordered and they will be here next week.  and i sent out my save the date cards.
