Karina- You might want to see if there are any local seamstresses in your area that specialize in bridesmaid dresses. I found one on the knot and I got to pick whatever design I wanted and they only cost $104! This also saved me for my one preggers bridesmaid who got an empire waist dress in the same fabric. Just a thought. This way you could pick out exactly what you want and it will save them money. HTH!
not to be debbie downer, (and for that price, it is worth trying out) but a lot of the more common body shapers (spanx power panties, etc.) have seams that show through in a really thin dress, and I would imagine they would in this fabric.
the seamless body shapers are expensive.. I had to get a seamless spanx shaper for a crepe silk dress (that even had a lining)and it was abt $80.
yeah - ask your girls before you decide on that for sure - i don't think i'm overweight, but i would definitely not be comfortable in that dress, body-shapers or not.
