I am going to double post this also in the home section (FYI). My original registered for china pattern was discontinued as of Feb 1. I have returned all of the pieces I received and now have a huge Bloomies Credit. I am having the worst time trying to pick out china. I like a lot of different things so I figured I would do a poll on here.


Now here is my original set: it is returned and they are out of 5 piece place settings so even if I wanted it I am SOL (replacements.com do not have it either)


I like a lot of other sets too and my mom also offered to give me her discontinued Wedgewood that I could pair up with a set (this will say matched to mom next to it) or get my own set since I do not want to start a controversy with my two older sisters being jealious my mom gave me her sets (we are all super competitive and jealious of eachother but in that I love you, I hate you kind of way).


So here they are:


1. This is my Mom's


2. Textured white on white (Shagreen) Wedgwood


3. Also white on white with squiggly lines accent plate is in black Lenox


4. Lenox


5. Also textured white on white Kate Spade


6. Waterford


7. In the pearl color Ralph Lauren

I really like #5. To me it's the most classic, and can easily be dressed up or down.

I like #5 and #7 the best, for the reason aclassicbeauty said.  Also, they'll go with any decor you might have in your dining room, either now or later: traditional, modern, and any possible color palatte.

I decided on waterford ballet ribbon. It was just so different looking and that was something I wanted - something different.
