i am looking at bridesmaids dresses and the fabric swatches are really strange looking, and it says the fabric is double faced taffeta.  does that mean that it is a different color on each side?  this is the swatch i am looking at.  i am wondering if i can choose a side and get one color because the picture of the dress doesn't show that the dress has two different colors.  it only shows it in one color.  and if it comes in both of these colors i don't want it.


it is the ruby and grape.  i want the ruby.

yes, it means it is a different color on each side.  can you contact them and ask if they have ruby taffeta - not double-faced?

i have a phone number of a shop in glendale, ca, which is about 2 hours away from where i am.  so i will try calling there and if they are no help over the phone i will just go down there this weekend.   if it is going to be purple just inside the dress, that is fine with me, no one will see the inside of the dress.
