Are you going to be outside much? I honestly dont think you will need anything over top.
It was a cool day when we got married and I was sweaty all day. The dress is going to be heavy.. Your blood pumping and you'll be running all over the place.. bathroom, take pictures, visit guests etc etc etc.
My BFF just got married in November and she didnt wear anything over top and she was warm all day too.
I tend to agree with JoceyBaby...granted, I got married in August, but even inside when my BMs were wearing sweaters over their strapless dresses, I was pretty warm. And gosh, all those layers of crinoline were sticking to my legs all day...how did people survive back in the day? But I digress...you're getting married in September, right? I think you'll be fine without anything, but if you need something for walking to and from the car, etc., just a light shawl would probably be fine. I can't remember what your colors are, but I've seen some really cute pics on the knot of girls with bright wraps that match their wedding colors...like red or pink were really cute.
If you feel like you need something in case you get cold, sometimes at wedding shops they sell wraps that are organza or satin, just plain, but something you can wrap around your back and shoulders would be fine probably.
Something like this:
They also make little satin jackets
This wrap is nice, but I don't like how they bunched it up in the pic, they are flat and thin. The pic makes it looks like it's stuffed!
I think you'll be fine strapless as well, but if you're sure you want something, this would look nice...
LMAO!I looked at that jackey for awhile, trying to figure out if you were serious. I kept wanting to respond WTF? But then I said that would be awfully rude.I can laugh now, it was a joke,
