I'm totally on the look-out for the perfect swimsuit too, but I don't really know what I want specifically yet :S. Just wanted to say that most swimwear stores (like Swimwear Etc. and Everything But Water) have sections where you can mix and match sizes and styles so you would be able to pick whatever size top and style of top, and then a different size bottom (if you need to, I know I do) that is boyshort style. HTH!!

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I'll say it anyway. I love, love, love J.Crew for swimwear. I've been hooked for a couple of years... I strayed away last year and bought a TNA by lisa Lozano bikini, but I don't think I'll ever buy a swimsuit from anywhere else ever again (ok, maybe that's an exaggeration ). Of the pieces I own I can say this: they fit great, dry super quick, and don't fade with the chlorine from my pool. They come in a gazillion different colors and styles, mix and match, and I find myself often falling in love with the patterns they come out with. Here's their boyshorts as of now:
The first one comes in way more colors than the second (which is "slim swim" and I'm not sure what that means yet )... they have TONS of choices for a matching top. HTH some
i have to agree with stephanie. i love j crew bathing suits. the colors they come in are great, i had a hard time deciding what to get. i just had to order one online because i was going out of town and needed it before they would have them in the store but i think they are going to be in stores in the next couple of weeks (not there yet, but definitely starting to get spring stuff).
Another vote for J. Crew suits. I buy one every year after Christmas, when they're on sale and I've never had one I didn't like. Also, I have these in turquoise and love them. They're fitted (obviously, it's a bathing suit ) but they're not so slim that they ride up or don't give enough coverage.
Swimsuits made of technologically advanced fabrics biomimetically designed with a surface that mimics the rough shark denticles to reduce drag along key areas of the body. The characteristics of the fabric improve shape retention and increase muscle compression to reduce vibration and retain muscle shape to reduce fatigue and power loss.
