Bought this top from Target this weekend. It looks great, it is cut in all the right places for my body and it was less than $20. However, I'm having a hard time styling it. I assume I'd pair with denim skinny jeans but I like to cover my arms. Should I pair with a blazer? Cardigan? At a loss. For reference, it is navy+white with an exposed zipper in the back.
I think a shorter blazer would work, one that lets the bottom of the peplum peek out. The same with a cardi. I love the idea of a fuchsia cardi over navy blue & white.
Could you style a long sleeve thin tissue t- shirt under it? That way the structure of the peplum would still work your figure, but your arms would be covered.
Really cute for spring. White jeans/skinny pants! Yellow cardi or blazer! Turquoise too. And all shades of pink. Maybe even jade green.
Are you into the colored jeans thing?
I think a straight/pencil skirt would also be great but that doesn't help with the arms.
I love the idea of yellow, aqua, or fuscia (as Boots suggested).
I'm not really into colored jeans and since I live in NYC I try to avoid white pants (take the subway once, they will be ruined). Going to be on the lookout for a pencil skirt that would coordinate, that sounds fab too!
