What should I do?

ARGH.  I'm so freaking mad right now.  I sold a pair of boots on eBay for a nice little profit, and RIGHT after the auction ends, the winner emailed me and told me he bought the boots at cost elsewhere, and will honor the bid, but would like to back out if I can sell the boots to someone else.  I don't want to relist them.  I can do a second chance offer to the next highest bidder, but if they turn it down, should I just make the guy buy them?  What would you do?  Ask the winner to pay the difference if the next highest bidder buys them?

I'm so irritated right now!

ETA:  I just tried to send out a second chance offer, and the only bidders that signed up for it bid less than half what this dude won them for.  He won them for $255, and the second chance bids were $125 and under.

I would make him honour the bid.

Thanks, Kisa.  I did make him honor it.  I didn't mention that he had zero feedback and had just registered to bid on my item, so I was a little worried he'd stiff me or take a long time to pay and I wanted to get them sold before Christmas.  He ended up paying cash through Paypal right away, and I sent the boots out!
