Ordered these 5 from Warby Parker.  My ten-year-old pair of Ralph Laurens have fared fine but I'm looking to upgrade to something funkier.

A pair of oxblood skinny jeans. I think I'll get a lot of use out of them this Fall & Winter.  Of course they aren't cropped on me and are more burgundy color IRL.

Boots where did you find these? Ive been searching for a burgundy/oxblood jeans.

Loehmann's in Niles, IL.  They have them on the website too (link below.)  They have a lot of stretch in them, but feel more substanial than say FF21 jeans.  The brand is Velvet Heart (which I've never heard of) and they're $39.99.

These jeans are haunting me now. Maybe it's a good thing that clicking on the link causes my browser to hang, to the point that I am forced to close it and relaunch. I've never been a colored-jeans person but these may work for me. Tomorrow I'm hitting Loehmann's.

Nice boots, ico!

I picked this blouse up from free people. I bought the same style from them last year and it was my go-to casual blouse for layering. The different color plaid from last year's version will allow some more options in my wardrobe. Expensive, but I'm justifying it with cost-per-wear smile

Thanks.  I may post pics of me wearing them asking for advice.  Seems like the thing to do with Warby Parkers.

I got the R&J Couture version for the same price - which are at Overstock too (http://www.overstock.com/Clothing-Shoes/Romeo-Juliet-Couture-Wine-Skinny-Color-Denim/7292800/product.html)

More cherry red IRL, so, I'm hoping, seasonless. And a flattering black jersey maxi skirt that is more fitted than full or a-line, without showing lumps and bumps, and a drape/cowl neck tee.

I tried those on and so wanted them to fit me right (stupid flat butt.)  Cherry red is a great seasonless color IMO.  You might have lucked out because I had to exchange my oxblood Velvet Heart jeans for a size down.  They stretched out horribly after an hour of wearing them in my normal jean size.  The smaller size fits better and I've already worn them a bunch.

I'm still biting my nails about wearing them. I have created lots of outfits in my head. Putting on red jeans in real life is a different story.

I swear just do it you'll be hooked. I now have 4 pairs of jeans in the red family and wear them OOTT. I have cherry in ankle and regular lengths, a burgundy ankle length, and got a kind of "coated" pair of burgundy. I pair them with chambray button downs, chunky cream sweaters, black and white stripe tees, solid peplum tops, t's, you name it...

As itsapinkthing said... just do it! You'll forget you are wearing them 30 mins after you do.

Oh god, it's been an expensive month. The shopping highlights:

Amored scootering jacket, because my summer one isn't warm enough anymore:

Michael Kors leather jacket from the Rack (not this exact one, but pretty darn close):

Suede ankle boots, should be on my porch when I get home today. But since the jacket I just bought is black, I'm thinking I might send them back for black if I like them?

Target "Ultimate" t-shirts. GUYS THESE FIT SO GREAT! I bought 3 because they are so perfect. If they launder well and don't shrink/warp, I'm going back and buying like 10. Seriously.

I wore them today to go car shopping and to lunch with a buddy. I don't think my husband is a fan of the jeans, heh.

Yay!w00t.gif    Your husband will come around.  And if he doesn't, eh, you still look great!  I know that you're a fan of black and white, so I'm betting that almost everything you own can be worn with the jeans already.

Kelly- That is a gorgous jacket!

After realizing my red polish selection is sad, I bought 2 new drugstore reds yesterday. Then I bought two different organizing thingies so I can see what I own. One is a divided fabric-covered tray and one a hanging jewelry organizer that I think will work better but I have to figure out where/how to hang it up. $4 in nailpolish turned into about $25 in storage.

This little knit moto jacket but in black and on clearance for $13 (Target). I thought it would be cute as a yoga-ish jacket. We plan to start having a yoga teacher come to the house once a week. We can easily fit 6-8 mats on the grass in our backyard, so we'll invite a few friends and split the costs depending on how many people show up. You do not care about the justification, however that does not exempt you from hearing it.

Thanks! I can't find my exact one online but it's close/same brand. My Rack had some awesome leather jackets - I didn't even go in there looking for a leather jacket, but I  had to pull the trigger after I tried it on "for fun"...

I've been known to try on the leather jackets there for "fun" too.  And then I make someone else hold my wallet until we leave the store.wink
