Oh...the shoes of my youth. I remember my favorite pair when i was 6 were pink glitter and very similar to the 2nd pair you posted. The first pair isn't THAT bad but I don't think I'm going to go for these this time.
Didn't jellies pop up last year too? Or the year before? My mom never let me have them when I was little. Are they at all comfortable? They seem like they'd be horrible in the hot and humid weather. I can't even deal with wearing non-cloth or leather flip flops in the summer.
I've totally wanted jellies for like 3 years. I have no idea why, I usually hate stuff like that. I want more old school ones like this though... I don't know why, they're totally uglier.
Bahahahaha, Maddie, I had those like the last pic when I was in HS. That's the only time I did that trend - I skipped it the second go-round, and have no desire to jump on it again. Yech.

Oh god, those are making me flinch. I remember wearing those for an entire summer when I was probaby about 10. The rubber wasn't soft and jelly, so I got blisters. Ugh, I am not planning on incorportaing those into my spring wardrobe.
Oh god, my feet start sweating and feel all blister-y just LOOKING at them!!!
That's a trend I will not be getting into.
Stuff like this makes me wonder--who the hell decides this stuff? Who sits around going "Hmmm...y'know, I think this is the right time for jellies to make a comback!"
ETA: Which celeb are we going to see these on first? Mischa? Paris? Nicole? Jessica? I'm not quite picturing La Lohan in them, but it's not too far of a stretch.

cc, to answer your question, they are pretty much horrifically uncomfortable, unless you can find the kind with a terry cloth liner in them. but they make your feet get all sweaty and blister-y. and when you want to look like the cool girls in the 6th grade, all pain is worth it ;)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this their second resurgence, after their original popularity? I remember wearing them as a preschooler, and they became popular again when I was in 7th grade (1993-94 ish), and now again?
