Bought this humongous thermometer to hang in the back porch. I think it's pretty cool and I will be able to read it easily by looking out the porch door. It's 38" tall and should last my lifetime.

I bought these at lunch. New espadrilles or some other sort of wedge sandals have been on my wish list, and these will do the trick, plus I can wear them to work occasionally. I put them on in the car going back to my office. I never do that. I'm kind of in love with them.
They also had a black/white stripe version, but not in my size in store. I wanted those too. And I want them in red but I held back.
They are so comfy. I haven't had great luck at PL recently, neither fit nor style, so I was surprised.
I needed a pair of casual leather low wedges to wear with shorts or skirts and found last year's version of these. Mine do not have the large button and the strap is thinner. I also got them in a nude leather color (not the brown which looks kind of cheap to me on-line.)
My black pair of sunglasses broke last weekend, and I thought I needed these. I had eyeballed them on Overstock, but they sold out before I decided I needed them. Then, what should show up on HauteLook today? That's right, these babies! Can't wait for them to arrive. I love the knot at the temple. I just hope they arrive before we leave for Lake Michigan to celebrate the 4th of July.
I bought a belt at Goodwill almost exactly like this - same elastic and snaps on the back but the straps in front are thinner, there are more of them (10-12?) and the small buckles are square. It's cool. $5.
I went to Marshalls for activewear now that I'm actually exercising regularly (as of Memorial Day Weekend! I'm so excited. I'm seeing a difference, especially in my legs.
Got this Tonic Altamont Tank in a mauvey-raspberry color. It has a very pretty, swoopy T-back.
I got 2 pairs of Marika capri bottoms - similar to the ones shown. Have a roll-down waist.
Ordered this night cream which I hope is not too slick to use as a day cream too, in small doses - it got good reviews on the site and on MUA. I am seeing age spots on my forehead even though I'm sun-phobic. Sunscreen is probably not enough; I need to start wearing a hat when I walk the dogs. I'm considering bangs again, for, like, the rest of my life. http://www.vitacost.com/alba-natural-even-advanced-sea-plus-renewal-night-cream
Payless is doing the BOGO sale so I ordered the above shoes in the b/w stripe, plus a backup pair in black, because I heart them so much and want to wear them all. the. time. I have to intentionally not wear them, that's how much I love them. They work with almost everything. With the BOGO and a random coupon code I got both for $35 including tax; shipping is free to a local store, whee.
