...or what I bought today on the Sucked in by Target train.
- 2 $1.99 zip makeup bags; one to use as a pencil case and one to use as a case for the electric clipper/trimmer thingie we had to buy recently that didn't come with a case of its own;
- A travel-sized hairbrush and comb for my desk drawer since I lost the last one somehow;
- Red crew neck 3/4 sleeve cardigan on clearance for $13 (a list item which I almost ordered online from Old Navy because I was tired of looking all over for a red-red, not that crappy trendy coral-red that's everywhere);
- Medium gray medium length cuffed casual shorts in lightweight cotton, paid full price at $18 which I hated to do but I really wanted more shorts for the summer. Although I was looking for white, the gray is probably better.
Well, I finally gave up on fashionable tees.
I bought four Gap Favorite/Essential Tees in various, stunning shades of black, white, and gray. They're not horrible, and they'll be resistant to those buckshot holes I keep putting in the fronts of my other, thinner, more fashionable tees.
Went to H&M and bought a bunch of casual wear (t shirts mainly.) Their t-shirts seem a bit better than Old Navy and Target so we'll see. For less than $10 a top though, if I get 2 seasons out of them, I'll be happy. They have the perfect (for me anyway) striped top that I wanted to re-buy, since I accidentally beached the one I bought a few weeks ago.
Vanessa, I also finally got that bird shirt from H&M that you posted way back in April. You were right, it's really cute!
