Because work sucks royally, I decided to treat myself to the new shoes I've been thinking about. I bought these in red last year and they were seriously the most comfortable wedges I've ever worn.
yay! love it! honda shadow is a nice smaller-scale bike that is easier to handle for a woman and has a great engine...
Thanks for the info! I took the class all weekend on a Rebel, which I really liked, and I know someone selling one for a good price. But I'm kind of thinking about a scooter too....while I like bikes better because the sitting position feels much more natural and somehow safer to me, I've never driven a manual anything and I still have to concentrate on shifting. Which was totally fine in the parking lot, but I'm afraid it'd be too much to concentrate on when I'm first learning how to navigate the roads, too. Soo....I'm thinking of getting a scooter at first, since it's an automatic and that'd be one less thing I'd have to think about. But no dealer seems to want to let me test drive one before I buy, so it's hard to make that decision!

Kelly- I didn't start driving until I was 35 (long story) but when my brother was teaching me, he'd have me drive around the local cemetraries to get used to everything. Maybe that'd be a good place to practice shifting outside a parking lot?
Anyway, Last weekend was my first full weekend off since January and of course I did a little celebratory shopping!
Plus some navy & white striped t-shirts from H&M that I can dress up with the skirts and also wear with jeans or shorts.
And a pair of sandals from Target to wear casually. They are darker brown and less "crunchy" looking IRL.
