Yesterday Freddie the Beagle got hold of one of my camo ballet flats and did some chewing. I went to Kohl's for a cheap replacement but instead bought a pair of fuggs for 15 bucks. They will be my winter slippers next year. So now I need another cheap ballet flat for around the house - animal print a plus.

I bought this sweater

Because I had a laundry emergency. I washed this cardi today

But I accidentally did the load on warm because the prior load was whites, which I did not plan to wash today only DH whined that he was out of socks. The sweater was in a load that included a burgundy sweater that's seriously almost 20 years old and SHOULD NOT BLEED anymore but it did. So now my black/white dalmatian spotted cardigan is black/pink.

Bought this bikini top (I'm just going to pair it with some black bottoms I already have). The white bikini I bought last month went as poorly as expected...NOT decent!

At the little Goodwill bookstore - a drop-off location that is a used book/CD/DVD store (genius!): $25 on children's books for a baby shower this weekend - mom-to-be is an environmental documentary filmmaker so she requested secondhand/hand-me-downs. That was 13 books for $25, yo.

*Shameless brag alert*

One of the TJ Maxx's in my local area has a ton of high-end apparel in a 'runway' section.  Gorgeous stuff...completely beyond a price point I can handle...but still oh-so-droolworthy.  And the denim!  Oh, the denim!  More than 50% off retail and yet still untouchable...usually...

I found these hanging out in the clearance...missing a tag. Took them up to the register with a handful of other clearance jeans as a reference and walked out with them for $17.99!!!  The best part?  Discovering that they had totally been misplaced...the store had the same jeans in other sizes in their full cost section for $79.99.
