Need new unisex-looking walking around sneakers for my perpetual student lifestyle (wide leg lazy pants galore)- any recs?
i generally don't like shoes with ANY white on them- but am considering these from Heidi Klum for New Balance 320s (leaning toward the olive/black)- but i have sale blinders on and can't tell if they are ugly or not....
I agree with the other ladies. I love my NB shoes to work out in, but these look off.
I like these NB better.

Personally I usually wear Converse sneakers when bumming around. I have the navy blue ones, but the gray ones also pretty much go with anything. But maybe they have too much white on them for you?
Jmango- I think that there is too much going on with the first pair. The big N, the checkered pattern, the different colors, the netting on the tongue... They aren't my aesthetic (but then again, I'm not the one wearing them.) But I wonder how versicle they will be with so much going on? I think that a sleeker shoe will give you more mileage stylistically.
Personally, I really like the first one that Kelly posted. I think you could wear that everyday to class and it would look "right" no matter what you had on. Kelly's last pair is cute too.
agreed Boots- they are $$$ specialist running shoes that I really dont need......
I agree about Kelly's choices- I especially like the coloring of the 1st and 3rd pairs-but they just look too similar to the shoes I am replacing! (no wonder I like them)
I think I may make a big endless/zappos order for trying on then send stuff back- there is no way I will be able to narrow it down to one pair
