See now, that's the good thing about living in cow country- when half the population of your local Target is Amish (I'm serious), brightly colored clothes like this hang out on the rack for a while. I think I'll meander over this weekend and see what I can find.

Good scores, D!
Thanks, Kenzie!
See - there's a silver lining to your current locale! Hey if you see any of the throws - please pick them up for me - I want two!

Well, I bought a couple of sizes in almost everything I bought. I'm thinking about listing everything on ebay with a starting bid to cover my costs (purchase, tax, ebay fees, shipping/handling) Perhaps I could list the items with a description of stylethread and size info so that only those who read stylethread can find and bid on them? What do you think? I haven't received the items yet, but should get them next week, at which point I will have to decide what's staying and what is going...

I'm not listing anything on ebay. I am taking some stuff back to my local Target today, since I bought double sizes too. And some items just didn't work. I thought about listing (and I have no complaints about your ebay plan, D), but I figure I'll take the items back and hopefully make someone happy who just happens across any of them in the store randomly. :)
So sad to find out that one of my martini glasses has a chip in it! Of course I can return but it's probably almost impossible to get another now. *sigh*
Kenzie, I second D - if you find the throws in the brown color combo, please let me know. I will pay you immediately for one if you find extras! :)

Greats finds all! Hope the quality lives up to the label. Mister Man and I did our bi-weekly Target run the evening the line dropped and all the displays were empty. A bunch of shell-shocked employees were standing by some of them, fielding questions from frantic women!
D-- I like your idea :) and would definitely buy some stuff from you!!
cool! I thought it could be a nice treat for st members that missed out on some of the items without paying the outrageous prices I'm seeing things go for!

Yay!! I was definitely swooning over your loot :)
Now, if these pieces are anything like regular missoni, which I suspect they are, you can pretty much wear them regardless of the size becuase of the the way the knit is constructed.
I started getting shipping notices today -- can't wait to try these things on! Perhaps I'll list items as I eliminate them... That will definitely make it easier on me.

Well, ladies, the Target by me had a ton of the clothing, but not a single houseware item. I only bought one sweater and sadly, could not find any throws for you all.
Well, the items I ordered are slowly trickling in. I'm finding the dresses are too short for me, so I may put all of them up. I could wear them as tunics, but I fear it may be too matronly of a look for me.
I want everything to arrive so I can group items, try them on together, etc. Once I decide what will go, I'll list them so they end on the same day in an effort to reduce my trips to the post office.
I plan to list them without mentioning target or missoni so only ST readers can bid on them.
I already know that I'll be listing this coat in size L and XL:

Most of the Target stores I have been to in the past few days have a few assorted things (like socks, children's clothing, comforters, tights, and a few stationery items), but none have had the throws or pillows. If you want those I think you're going to have to go to ebay.
Vanessa, did you every get your stroller blanket? I was at my parents this weekend one of their Targets had quite a few of them, so other Targets still may have them.
FYI, the Targets I went to had signs up saying that Missoni was a limited time event and what they have on the floor is all they have, no replenishment. It really sucks the way Target handled this whole launch.

No, didn't get one, there weren't any by me. If I run across one, I'll pick it up but I'm not going to stalk one, not worth it. The onesie is cute enough :)
Kenzie, thanks for checking for throws. I still do want the brown one but I not so much that I'd be willing to pay an arm and a leg for it.
By the way, I wore my black Missoni tights over the weekend and loved the look! I thought they were prettier than regular tights and not too overt with the pattern. I'd be interested to see how everyone wears their Missoni finds :)
