I am travelling out of state for work. So, i just went to the nearest target at 8am. There was quite a bit of stuff there. A lot of their home items weren't even put out yet....workers were opening boxes. So, I never saw some of it. Had to go to work.
I did score the black zig zag pumps, a pair of navy and black tights, and an infinity scarf. I really wanted a coffee mug for work, but they were gone.
Hey - I picked up those shoes and hair accessories too! AND I got the large glass platter/low bowl too! I love the multi-color chevron pattern in the glass!

I saw the platter/bowl there too. I contemplated it, but decided to just go with the regular bowl. If it had been a flat platter, it would have been added to the order as well. I don't know what I will serve in it, but it looks great on the shelf in my kitchen!
So jealous! I had to work Monday night into Tuesday afternoon and was dying to get on the site (especially because I was awake!). I was so exhausted when I finished work, I forgot :( I missed out on almost everything I wanted. Was soo looking forward to this collection. Missoni has a special place in my heart and I've always wished I could afford more of it. Many years ago I remember walking into the store in Rome, wanting everything, and walked out with a scarf I still treasure to this day.
I did end up with the things below, but was so sad I didn't get the baby blanket, and the one piece baby girl outfit :( Also wanted a couple of throws and pillows. I might take a drive later, but have little hope.
And this cami set for me:
D, you got some AWESOME stuff! Especially love the black/white items. Good job!

I stopped by Target around 5:00pm and there was NOTHING still out except for a few of the comforter sets that weren't that great looking. What I managed to find were things placed randomly around the store that people had just set down. I lucked out. I got:
-tan gloves -King size duvet and shams set -baby onesie type thing for 3-6 month
And that's it!! I really wanted a sweater and scarf but oh well.
I am dying for that baby onesie!!! I am on call today so I cannot leave the house, but I might actually ask a coworker to cover a couple of hours for me. I just will not say the reason is I want to go to Target. Ha! Hope I can find it.

I think that's it - the last few images are from ebay as I couldn't find the bedding or the kitchenware on the Target site.
I am still missing two items. I have this skirt in a medium, which sort of fits, but I would like to try a small. I may have to stalk ebay.
And everywhere I went, this was just gone. Probably will have to stalk ebay for it as well. There are a few auctions so far with not-too-inflated prices...I have bought the throw in the other color but really wanted the brown combo.
And I just ordered this (yes, the Target Missoni items are back online, though many are out of stock):
I couldn't order through the web site, but called the 800 number and after a looooong hold time, got one ordered via phone. I ordered a medium...large is all sold out and I go between med / large in typical Target sizing.
Whew!

Thanks, D. I am quite excited. I actually thought my husband would be less impressed but he likes a lot of the stuff too, so we'll probably keep most of the home stuff.
I guess I am going to mostly return the clothing extras. I don't sell on ebay and I guess I'm not much of a capitalist because I'm a little appalled at the price gouging that's going on with ebay right now. I wonder what will happen as those purchased items near the 90-day return limit and haven't sold on ebay...will there be a bunch of returns to Target stores in three months? Hmm...
Those darker colored throws were at almost all the stores I went to yesterday. Just the brown combo was gone, gone, gone. So you might even have a chance at a store today; it certainly seems to be the less popular color combination.
I might head out today (I have two Targets within a 10 min driving distance of my house) again - I actually need "regular" items from Target and of course only focused on the Missoni pieces yesterday. But the husband is looking for batteries, band-aids, etc. So if anything happens to be returned or restocked, maybe I'll get lucky on my last two items.
I think Target is going to have to plan ahead for future launches. A lot of people seem to be really pissed off, according to the news. For me, it's the best launch ever. I have a couple of things from the Liberty of London launch, and (reaching waaaaaaaaay back) some old Mizrahi items, but I have not been happy with the clothing quality of other launches (my LOL items are all home dec). I'm glad to see that Missoni did a good job with the clothes. They seem to be quite nice and before this I only owned one Missoni skirt. It's nice to have some more pieces!

They had a rep from target interviewed on the Today Show this AM. I have never seen a person stick to her "talking points' quite so hard. She never did answer the question if they will restock (which leads me to believe that they won't) or that they will change policies for the next launch so that the Ebay sellers can't horde all the merchandise. It was almost as if she was gloating about the situation. It seemed like a very bad PR move IMO.
I had to go buy a new alarm clock after work yesterday and my local Target was stripped bare of the Missoni merchandise. The clothing section is right as you walk in and there were two male employees in their 20's just staring up at the Missoni sign hung from the ceiling. Shell shocked.

Nice haul, ATLgirl! Did you buy the sheets separately, or did they come packaged with a comforter/duvet? I never saw any sheets at any of the Targets I went to.
I went to a few Targets yesterday, I got to the first one a few minutes after 8 (darn traffic!) and got most of the things I wanted, except the loop pilow. I saw some pics on ebay though and it looks kind of cheap, so I'm not too bummed. I went back to Target today to look for more, and managed to snag a few more things.
I got:
Pink zigzag pillow
Pink/purple throw
Pink baby blanket
Heels
Flats
Cardigan (the peach/tan/blue color)
A few different mugs
1 plastic tumbler
socks
Purple glass frame
Journal
Set of notecards
Set of clips
2 pink/purple zigzag hand towels
3 candles (I was debating between the tuscan sunrise & amber moss as my 3rd, picked the amber moss but I should have bought the tuscan sunrise b/c I saw lots of amber moss candles today)
Nesting stoneware prep bowls
Milk crate in peach/tan/blue
I ordered two sweaters (pink zigzag cardi & pink vneck) plus a pink zigzag platter from Target.com, but who knows if I'll actually get that order.
Overall, I was semi-impressed with the quality of the stuff (especially the clothes - they look pretty nice!) but I'm very disappointed with the way Target handled this. What kind of bs excuse is "we didn't know it would be so popular"? They had to have known with all the media attention and advertising that it would be popular. It sucks that the site crashed so many times - they should have anticipated the problems they had.
I'm also disappointed that they don't limit the number of items you can buy. It seems like the resellers got most of the stuff while the people who actually wanted it were left out. I definitely saw a few people yesterday that were for sure buying stuff to sell on ebay. The prices on ebay are insane, I have a feeling a lot of it will be returned when it doesn't sell. For some of the prices on ebay you could buy M Missoni, which is probably a lot nicer than the Target line.
Nice hauls, everyone!

Snuck out at lunch & found the onesie for my baby girl! I wanted to go to more Targets but unfortunately had to return to work. I found more than I thought I would, but nothing in the way of throws or pillows, which is what I really wanted. I did buy two quilt sets, two scarves, gloves, hat, black/white pajama pants and a canister and some dinner plates/salad plates/mugs that look cute together but not sure how much use I would give them (except the mugs, those I know I will use!).
Here's a quick pic I snapped on my phone a few minutes ago:

The sheet sets are ONLY comforter and pillow shams. No actual bed sheets included. The flowery/abstract set was $99 for full / queen and $119 for king. The zigzag was also $119 for a king set.
Only select stores had the sheets, the shower curtains, and some of the other stuff. I debated the shower curtains, but some of the color patterns for this line just don't quite fit my home decor.
I probably have about $600 or more in items to return, mostly the clothing sizes that didn't fit (and some clothes just didn't work at all, so both sizes are getting returned). I called around to a couple of my local Targets today looking for a smaller size in the skirt, but no luck. I guess I'll take my chances in coming across one, and if not, then I'll look on eBay.
Vanessa, glad you found your onesie! That is darling!
I am also disappointed that there were no limits...when I realized that yesterday morning, I knew these things were going to go on eBay for high prices. At the first store I went to, one woman had her own checkout lane - and the checkstand was piled HIGH with all sorts of clothing and stuff. Probably $2000 worth. No one else could check out there; just one checker ringing up all her stuff. It makes me sad that these launches are supposed to be very "for the masses" and yet the masses who had to work or don't have a Target nearby are kind of getting screwed over by the eBayers.

Thanks! I did see the comforter/pillow sham sets. I thought there might have been actual bed sheets.
I too am disappointed but I'm happy I managed to get so much. I really hope that in the future Target orders more merch or puts limits on how much you can buy.
I saw the shower curtains today. I was very tempted to get the black & white print, but it doesn't fit the decor of my bathroom at all.
My local Targets still have a lot of baby and kids clothing. Guess those weren't very popular items.
