I did nab a few Missoni items this morning before the site crashed, but I can't post the photos since the site is down. It was acting wonkey while I was on there, and access to the women's items was intermittant. Because it was goofy, I just checked out with everything in my cart, even though I was using it as a place to collect things I was considering. I knew I wanted a few, but was afraid to mess with it. I suspect I will have a couple of returns once the items arrive...
I have a serious shoe obsession problem. Now I feel I need more office appropriate (but still my style) shoes. The skirts are just for fun and because I have a Rag and Bone obsession too. Vince was the sale a few weeks back, got some brown skinny cords with it too
Ah, fall shopping...I'm living vicariously and loving it all! My shopping ban is not without its perks (funding our moving the heck on out of here!) and one of them was realized over the weekend! Major stress was relieved when, after looking at every single lemon-mobile on the planet, I lucked into this pretty lady!
1997 Lexus LS 400...in excellent condition! Isn't she pretty?!? I had asked if the mechanics shop knew where to look for a decent used vehicle to what seemed no avail...until out of the blue the owner decided to sell this and wanted a quick sale. So I got a $6000 kbb vehicle for $2000. Now that's a bargain!
It's over what I had earmarked for the purchase, but is in amazing condition and well kept, so I had to just bite the bullet. The additional cost puts our moving off by another month or so, but having a vehicle to move with more than makes up for that I think.
Since I've been working towards this goal for three years now, I'm trying to come up with a name for her (yes, I name my cars!) that is representative of that time!
Congrats on the car! When naming inanimate objects (something I do frequently, apparently), I like to pick girls' names that were popular around the 1950's. Now, they're mostly our middle-aged moms, aunts, bosses, etc.
Barb (a perennial favorite), Trudy, Deborah, Merlene, Darlene, Candace (not Candy), etc.
I thought it would be weird to give my new car a girl name, and I truly LOVE it (as those of you on Facebook know), so it had to be a guys name. I choose Eric, I won't embarrass myself with the detail...*cough cough*...True Blood...My little one wanted to name it Enclavey, and my husbands SAABy so I bet for you she'd choose Lexusy.
been eating raw for the past two weeks, and I feel phenominal. I have severe back problems to the point where I difficulty walking sometimes, and my pain is gone. I'm very excited about this dietary change, so I'm continuing on the path:
oh and these because I've been wanting some missoni pumps and they were marked way down (don't worry -- I won't wear them with the target missoni stuff (which I 'm still waiting for...))

I've been on a blazer kick lately. Found the grey version of this blazer at NR for about 75% off (so basically I got it for $30) I kind of wish they had it in the olive color too.
They look like nothing special in this picture, but these jeans fit me SO well and are on track to dethrone my F21 jeans as my HG skinnies. I'm just hoping and praying they don't get all baggy on me, because they fit like a dream right now. Mossimo skinny jeans in Fit 6.

Thursday at Goodwill, I found two of my list items.
Rampage Mary Jane t-strap pumps, new never worn, vegan, to replace ones I wear at least once a week that are developing small cracks where the ball of the foot bends. The heels of the new ones are higher and thinner but have the same round toes, rubber soles, and were $3.50.
Plus I found a dressy black skirt, which was on my list last holiday season and I kind of forgot about wanting one. This one is vintage but NWT - how great is that - Leon Max (Max Studio designer, before there was Max Studio). It's a very simple black pencil skirt in a satiny acetate with a thigh-high side slit. When I was thinking of a dressy skirt, this was not the style I was imagining, but it's super cool and was $5. w00t.
