Nothing in particular really. In general, their stuff is cute. It seems like it could (with wise choices) provide a less expensive alt to Anthro. I think my curiosity was piqued by how pervasive they are on Polyvore. Their selection is quite large, and that probably explains the pervasiveness. :)
I haven't bought anything either, but have heard the same thing as Boots. But, lately I feel that is the case with an awful lot of stores.
Too true! I take very good care of my clothes (as I suspect most of us here do) and it upsets me when items last a few months instead of years. J Crew is one of the worst suspects for me. Not only have they prices and sized me out of a lot of their clothes, the clothes I do consider aren't worthy the high prices they charge. BR, Steve Madden, The Limited, The GAP, I'm looking at you too!
I ordered some stuff from them once. I know I sent it all back, but I think it was because nothing looked quite how I hoped. I don't remember personally having issues with the quality just by trying it on. But I've heard a lot of people say it's not great quality for the money. I think they're popular on polyvore because they sponsor a LOT of fashion blogs.
