Not very summery, but this is the best time of the year to get a deal on stuff for winter and pret-a-porter has some good mark-downs right now - these were $335 and I got them for $134:

As some of you know I was suuuuper excited to get an Anthro birthday discount in the mail. (There may have a been a happy dance with high pitched squealing involved. ) At one point I went and tried on a bunch of things, but decided to hold out and hope for a good sale.
On June 30, J-Bug and I and his playmate and her mom spent the day out and about to celebrate the end of 1st grade. We made sure to get some Mom time in between all the kids activities, and hit up both Anthropologie and the local thrift store...two places she had never been in! Crazy!
I bought:
Love Love Love these!
Pairs perfectly with last summer's cloudfish skirt
I grabbed a pair of jeans from the clearance section so I could try on some tops, and was amazed by how awesome they looked on. More amazement? Clearanced twice and down to $39!!! My gf wanted a pair to try so in looking for her size I found a 2nd pair in mine...and yeah, I bought both!!!
Ordered these online...can't wait till they come in!
So having experienced one end of the price spectrum I then introduced them to the opposite end, our local thrift! I bought her daughter a few tops and a dirndl for a Halloween costume, bought J-Bug and his pal a toy each, and bought myself a chocolate brown velvet Tahari jacket. Cost $17...look on my friend's face when she saw the receipt...priceless!

You timed that visit perfectly! Love the shorts and the top (might have to stop by and check my store's clearence section. It never has anything that I like.) And those jeans, that's good karma coming back at you.
My shopping was less than exciting. I stopped by Sephora to pick up some of this. I hope it works.

So, ya know the total shopping binge I highlighted earlier (Anthro...so bad for the budget)??? Turns out it's a total win-win on my part. The Gerbera Shorts and the Seashell Blouse both went on sale this week...time for a price adjustment...and a sizeable one at that! Yay!
Now my single mama guilt can be checked...I'll get about $60 back between both items!
Seriously waterproof and bright - I've only worn it once so far but I used it to sort of accent the wings on my normal winged liner and I really liked the tiny little blast of color!
The color a little better:

Lomish...how are those flats? Would love a review if you are willing!
Sure! I wore these for the first time to work yesterday. I bought a 1/2 size down so they run a little big. I normally wear a 6.5 and these are a 6 and there's still some extra room too. I managed to go almost the whole day without any problems and breaking them in, but towards around 5pm one side was starting to blister.
They are super cute on--I love that they're nude and will go with anything. Perfect for summer. I don't recommend them if you have wide feet. I'd rate 5 stars :)
Report flat sandals, like these but in black, and instead of the stitching they have small silver studs ($10 at Ross, w00t). And I got my ebay flip flops in the mail, so technically I got two pairs of shoes today.
Got this cookbook at an animal activism conference last weekend. The author is an acquaintance and she wrote something very sweet inside. I love her food but I loathe the way her books are organized. This one is by color. WTF.
Plus a couple lefty books and some obnoxious vegan t-shirts for DH.
