I was asked to review my new TOMS Wedges.  Simply put, I love them.  They came in the mail yesterday morning and I immediately took off what I was wearing and wore the TOMS the rest of the day. I also wore a silly grin while forcing people to look at my new shoes all day.

They were extremely comfortable right out of the box for me.  A lot of reviews that I had read said that I should expect a painful break in period, but I didn't experience it.  Maybe when I first wear them out on the street things will feel different?  The toes part was slightly tight, but not painfully so.  I expect that since it's canvas, it will stretch like a sneaker. 

The peep toe shows just enough toe to up the sexiness (if a canvas wedge can be labeled "sexy") but not so much toe that it looks odd.

The color is a true tomato red.  It looks extremely true to the color that appears on my screen.  I also took my normal size 7.  I have wide feet in the toe area and narrow heels (duck feet.).  Usually when shoes fit my toes, they slip off my heel very easily.  While these shoes felt a little loose in the heel for me, my foot stayed put all day.  And I think that if it does stretch any, a heel grip will do the trick nicely.
