I had a baby 2 months ago and I need some larger clothes while the weight comes off. I've been looking for jean capris without much luck. I'm petite, so I need a shorter length, but everything in petite sizes reminds me of my grandmother's clothes. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to stay under $75 thx!
I have some I like by AT Loft (though I found them at Salvation Army). They have an almost retro/pinup look because they're skinny and just under the knee, which is probably more flattering than the mid-calf length.
Limited usually has a good selection of sizes and lengths (at least in pants), and their styles are current. Also, there are usually coupons floating around that allow you to maximize your $$.
Also, could you get a pair of straight leg jeans and just cuff them?
I vote for this. I've given up on finding capris I like - it seems like they're always weirdly big around the calf or something, which never looks very attractive to me. So now I just buy straight-leg or skinny pants, cut them off, and cuff. (If you have any sewing skills you could probably actually hem them, but I can't sew to save my life, so I just cuff).
This reminds me....I need to make myself a pair for this year!
