Shipping Question
Permalink Closed

Right now on auction I have a DVD set up for sale, I just got an email from a potential buyer asking me if I would be willing to ship to the UK.

How do I find out the shipping cost? Would it be safe to send it to the person, I don't want issues later saying they did not receive the item. What do you girls think?

If you get their address you can go to USPS.com and UPS.com and get the costs for all the different international shipping options. You can just estimate the weight if you haven't weighed it. It's pretty cheap to ship packages using basic airmail but if you want to get a tracking number you'll need to use one of the express/priority options which cost a good bit more. Also you have to fill out a customs form - you just write down what's in the box and what the value is - and tape it to the box. It's a little green and white form that you can get at the post office.

I generally only ship abroad if there isn't much other interest in the auction or if I think I can get a much better price by doing so.
