our day was amazing! our deacon had been getting unreasonable with the ceremony restrictions (at one point he was trying to make my husband walk down the aisle *after* me), but everything worked out and the ceremony was beautiful. the food at the reception was absolutely amazing...so good in fact, that we were actually almost disappointed with all our meals on our honeymoon, because they didn't measure up! our 2 year-old flower girl behaved, although she didn't make it back down the aisle at the end, but her mom picked her up and it was fine.
the only snafu was with our flowers...long story short, the ceremony was at 2, the flowers were supposed to arrive at the church at 12:30. Due to "car problems," the florist didn't get to the church until about 2:10. so, the church was not decorated, my mom was the only one to get her corsage, my bouquet was not quite as we had discussed AND i had to yank some wilted flowers off, but...we got married, and that's what mattered in the end.
alrighty...i'm gonna post a few of my favorite pics. if you want to see a few more, follow this link: http://community.webshots.com/album/432194254ZANXHr this is nowhere near all of them, but i don't delude myself that anyone wants to look through all 1500 of my wedding pictures. unless you really hate your job.
I can't see the ones you posted here, but the photos on the link are AMAZING! Each of the dresses you wore (rehearsal, bridal and send-off) were beautiful (esp. the gold one -- wow!)
I think your bouquet looked really good, too. I didn't see anything wilted.
Congratulations!

YAAYY!! Congratulations and welcome back! I am so so happy for you. Everything about the wedding looks gorgeous - and I thought your bouquet looked beautiful despite the mishap.
gosh, you guys are sooo sweet...thank you for all your compliments!
and yeah, wasn't the cake fab? i just couldn't bring myself to have anything other than chocolate and anyone who knows me would have been disappointed otherwise.

CONGRATS! You made such a beautiful bride!!! I'm so happy for you and I hope you're enjoying living in Atlanta! We should have an Atlanta Stylethread get-together (okay, so even though I don't really live there most of the time...I'm could make it if there was one).
