Does anyone know who designed the neckace that Reese Witherspoon wore in How Do You Know? I have a picture of it below. I love it and want a simple gold disc necklace so badly. Thanks!!
That looks a lot like the one my Dad got my Mom for Christmas last year from Tiffany's...it has her initial on it, but from a distance it just looks like a gold disc
Funny - I just saw this post or I would have replied earlier but I was looking for what I think is the same exact necklace last week. I can't see the pic you posted but I noticed Reese wearing a gold disk necklace in a mag and started hunting it down. I found mine at South Moon Under if anyone is interested. I also really like the one you got.
Alb- That's pretty. I was looking for a simple initial necklace like that before Christmas. I ended up getting a wax stamp version when I was in New Orleans instead. I may just have to have 2 versions now.....

I highly recommend it, boots. I actually ended up getting two charms - one with my initial and the star one. I don't love the star one but I thought I may want to occasionally wear two on a chain. They are inexpensive too. Btw - do you have ties to New Orleans? My inlaws just moved there and they love it (and we love visiting them)!

No ties to New Orleans. I went there on vacation in November (I had always wanted to go.) It's a great city, once you get off Bourdon Street (which is fun to people watch for a night, but it gets old and smelly really fast.) I love the history, the music and the food! I would go back in a heartbeat.

I agree about Bourbon Street. We went in the summer and it was scorching AND smelly. We liked Magazine St. though. If you are interested in New Orleans, you should check out the show "Treme." It's by the producers of the Wire (which was all about Baltimore) but takes place in New Orleans. Haven't seen it yet but we preordered it. Here's a link to an article about it: http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6362YN20100407

Love Treme! I got to see them film a bit while we were there in November. I also tried to see Kermit Ruffins play while I was there, but is band was dark that week. Of course that gives me an excuse to go back....
Frenchman Street was much more my style than Bourbon. We went to the Spotted Cat and had a great time. Would have liked to spend some time at The Three Muses and a few other bars on that street.
How cool that you got to see them film! We're excited to start watching it - have heard such good things and loved the Wire. I haven't explored N.O. much at all so I must check out your recs. next time I'm there.
I own the exact necklace. None of the necklaces above are the necklace. I bought this necklace just before the movie came out and was quite surprised when I saw Reese wearing it in the movie. The chain is gold and the disc is sterling silver with a raised gold "OM" design on it. I purchased it from a catalog called Isabella "Gifts for Reawakening the Spirit". I just looked in the Summer catalog, but it was not listed in there. Perhaps you could google them or call them and inquire. They are located in California at 1-800-777-5205.
