I'm looking for very thick socks. Socks so big that you might have to go up a shoe size to be able to wear them. I've looked around online but sometimes it's hard to tell how thick socks are from the pictures, so I'm hoping someone here can recommend some!
I used to order some called "Thick and Bulky Bootsocks" from Sockdreams but they are out of stock and don't know if/when they'll get more :( I have a couple pairs of boots that I bought a bit large specifically so I could wear thick, warm socks because my toes are constantly freezing!

Yes, Costco always has socks. And men's Calvin Klein jockeys. Apparently, men like to buy the essentials in one stop shopping.
I have a pair of hiking socks that are very thick. Maybe a sports store would have something you could use?
My warmest pair of socks is the pair of cashmere ones I received as a gift a few years ago. They aren't thick though, so I don't know if they will be too thin for sized-up boots.
I second the socks from Coscto, and offer thick wool hiking socks from REI as an alternative - if you can get to a B&M store, they have a huge selection of colors/heights/weights/sizes to choose from.

Hooray! I finally got my butt to Dick's and got some hunting socks. They are perfect! They don't look super thick at all, but apparently they are because they fit perfectly in my one-size-too-big boots. I couldn't believe how warm they are!
In case anyone else is looking for them, I got the Wigwam socks from 40 Below
