Time to think about what to get everyone for Christmas and the holidays!
Once again I am clueless and this year I have someone new to consider and worry about...my boyfriend. He is away right now in Navy training but comes home for a week or two for Christmas. I haven't seen him in 6 months so I want to get something thoughtful and nice and maybe something that will relax him to take his mind off these past busy and stressful 6 months. Any thoughts?
I have my moms Christmas gift down...or maybe for her Birthday but I am buying her a digital camera.
What are ya'll planning on getting everyone on your list and what are some things you would like to receive or buy for yourself?
I'm getting my parents a Roku box and a year of Netflix.
Other than that I am so lost - especially when it comes to my boyfriend! I mean, he pretty much buys what he wants. Plus, the stuff he won't buy for himself is home decor stuff and we have totally different styles - I can't ever anticipate what he will like or not like. So I don't want to spend big bucks without consulting him first - which takes the whole fun out of it!

Kelly - same prob here! I am -- as I write -- looking through the gift guide in this month's (December 2010) issue of Wired (one of my favorite magazines). They've compiled an excellent list, and I trust the opinions that come from Wired. Everything from a $2 liquid pencil to a $9,999 motorbike with sidecar. 100 different gift ideas. It's going to be a huge life-saver. I only wish it would have arrived last month so I could have used some ideas for DH's birthday, which was Saturday!
For my mom, I'm getting her some boring gifts like socks and kitchen gear. She's moving to a new house, and we've already "bought" flooring for her! :)
- Ooo! That reminds me. I'll have to post pics of the house reno.
For my sister, I have no idea.
I'm going to try using the profiler on Gifts.com for some people. The results are not always the greatest ideas, but they help me think of ones on my own.
