DH and I were thinking that since see are going to Vegas for part of our anniversary trip, it might be fun to get married again at some cheesy Vegas chapel.
I think it would be fun. however, would it make the memories of your "Real" day less memorable? If so, dont do it! Keep in mind, you will have to pay for another Nevada Marriage license etc. and depending on where you want to go, it could get to be more expensive than you think.
Hmmm, would we really or can we just have the fun ceremony? If we have to get a new license and all, the forget it.
If I remember correctly, you are required to get a Nevada license at any chapel in Vegas. And I'm pretty sure its the same, even if you are already married. Those chapels have to handle the license paperwork like everywhere else, so I'm pretty sure about that.
I wonder if you'd get a license if you just renewed your vows instead of getting married again? I think the difference is that renewing your vows is a sentimental thing, whereas getting married again is a legal thing (which you don't really need since you're already legally married). You should be able to renew your vows without getting a new marriage license.
I think it sounds fun, especially if you do a cheesy Elvis-style. I don't think it would interfere with your "real" memories at all -- it's a totally different experience!
