red pants?

I have a pair of red dress pants. They are medium rise and they are slightly wide-legged. There is a subtle stripe pattern in the red, but it is the same red color as these pants in this pic.

I have worn them in the past with a white blouse that has black pinstripes, but lately I have been wondering if I am a fashion victim for wearing them? What do you ladies think of red trousers?

I had a pair of red dress slacks myself...until they died a painful death in the laundry. I wore them regularly in the fall/winter with comfy sweaters and turtlenecks.

I bet you look great in them. I wouldn't interpret these as fashion victim (as long as the cut and fit are good - plus, I wouldn't really consider them trendy.)

I'd try something gray or ivory with them too, maybe a cardi or a silky blouse. I don't think they read fashion victim. I'd definitely avoid pairing them with red though (check out Heidi Klum on the season finally of Project Runway to see what I mean.)

They wouldn't be my choice but if you want to make them work I think you can. I'd try camel and/or taupe, on top as well as in the shoes. Cream and ivory would be nice too, as would a print with red in it.

I like red accents with black or black/white, but the outfit you describe may be too much red/too extreme.

My pants are pretty much exactly like Heidi Klum's except I am sure hers cost 10 times more.  I won't wear red with them, though.  That is a bit much.  I really like my red pants, but I just feel like they sort of "stand out."  I guess red is supposed to stand out, though.

Well.  It wouldn't be my choice but I did find some chic red ensembles, they all seem to stick w loose neutrals.

I wouldn't ditch them at all - I would wear them with all neutrals this year.  Camel and cream bouses, sweaters and accessories.  Dark tan boots, shoes or a belt could make the outfit very current looking.

I kinda love red pants. I had some for a while until they bit the dust...I really need to make a point to replace them!
