Are there any other sites like JCrew where you can order bridesmaid dresses online? I have a serious issue because my maids are all over the country and I don't know how to coordinate dresses for them. Apparently when you order dresses, you're supposed to get them all at once so the dye lot is the same, but that's not going to work out in this situation.
I just want them to be able to order their dresses and take them to their local tailor for alterations. Any leads you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
Ann Taylor's Celebration line just came out and it is really pretty and priced well too!
The rule for ordering all the same is only for certain fabrics. The brand that I am looking at is like this, ARIA.
But I have been in several weddings and never had to order them at the same time. You can pick the designer and have your bridesmaids order it over the phone from a store in your town, or they can call a store near them. PM if you need any help! This wedding stuff is truly crazy and I know I still need tons of help myself.
I had bridesmaids in different States as well, I just ordered them from a local bridal shop and they called in their measurements and then when the dresses were ready we shipped them for like $25. Then they were all done in the same Dye lot but they can get them tailored by them. HTH!

I looked at Ann Taylor's new line, but it's very limited color-wise. I also really like the Aria dresses. I sent the website link to my 'maids a week or so ago, and I'm hoping to get a thumbs up from them. I'm having many variations of pinks and greens as my colors, so if you ever want to compare notes, we're probably on the same page.
you can also order from a site like netbride (there are a couple of other ones, too, but I forgot their names). Just pick out a style/brand you like, have them try stuff on in their hometowns to get an idea of sizing, and then place an order.

That's what one of my friends did for one of her weddings. She told us what style and designer she wanted, and we ordered from Net Bride. It worked out really well.
Gruiz- I would love to compare notes! PM anytime, I am supposed to finding a new job, but wedding planning is my job now! I am going with Aria dresses, I think I will let them choose their own style of short in the color Peony pink!
