and: pasta sauce from Williams Sonoma, jewelry sets from JcPenney, teal blazer+black cami+black wide leg pants from Forever 21, three top on sale from Anthro, clothing for my son from Children's Place and Gymboree.
Yeah, so I went nuts...stark raving mad! Spent like crazy! But I justify it by a:making up for wedding anniversary depression, b:I'm a single mom working her butt off to keep it all together so I deserved this, c:this was my fall/winter shopping all in one
theotherjess - It's the one with all the coral pieces on it. Here's a pic I took.
Lynnie - I bought it from Belk. I know the coral bags are on sale pretty much everywhere. All my dept store has left is this shape, which I didn't particularly care for, which is why I bought the one with the rope handles, but you may like this one. I'm not sure the price on this one since I wasn't looking at it, but I can find out if you want.

So far, and I still have tomorrow (Sunday), just a LARGE CHUNK black ribbon-tie necklace ($7.99 from Rave) and a Hanes capri body enhancer ($6.99 from Hanes), from the Outlet Stores in San Marcos. I ordered these earrings from QVC ($23.92 - Ross-Simons Sterling Diamond Accent Half Hoop Earrings) on Aug. 12th, they arrived in the mail today, and I PROMISE YOU - they look MUCH better than the pic. off their website.

these wew a total impulse buy, but are the most eautiful shoes I have ever seen. They are so rich looking IRL.
in a pretty berry color. I tried it one for size since they were out of the blue and liked it even more!
2 skirts not on the anthro website:
1) deep blue just below knee. sort of full but not too much and pleated at the top. The bottom is covered with a pale blue embroidery- kind f scandenavian looking. It is beautiful- I'll have to take a pic later. And even better- it rang up 50%!! total surprise.
2)pink and olive full skirt. has some big pink flowers on the bottom. You've probably all seen it, but it was on sale for $25 and think I can work it for fall with boots and a chunky sweater. (actually I tried it on this way when i got home and FH told me I look like a model. )
no more shopping for me for a while. I fell in love with the slouchy frye's and need to save up for them. they are a milion times cooler IRL, but so darn expensive!
I adore those Jim barnier boots! If I may ask, how much and where is the anthro outlet?? I didn't know they had one.
Thanks Lynnie (and aclassicbeauty)! There is a store called Jeremy's, it's in Berkeley, CA. It is an outlet for both Anthro and Jcrew. There's also some "salvage" there from more expensive brands like Chanel, Prada, the like - all of the salvage items are damaged somehow, but the Anthro items are not. The prices are 20$ and up. The Jim Barnier boots were expensive - 100$, but they were seriously discounted (not sure how much they cost retail but I would guess 350+), and I had brown boots on my fall wishlist. I love them. There was a review of a different style on Stylediary a while ago:
We got our quarterly bonuses this week...I should have put it all in savings, but oh well...maybe next quarter!
TJ MAXX:
(Their jewelry dept is really good! I never looked in the jewelry dept before (I've always had a shoes, rugs, lingerie and bags/luggage only view of TJ Maxx).
These earrings (they aren't these exactly, mine are brown where these are pink, but they are the same style/Israeli designer Orit Schatzman):
This necklace:
Two pair of stud earrings by YAM (a husband/wife team of Israeli jewelry designers). One pair are blue quartz squares and the other are champagne colored quartz circles (wish I had pics of these because they are gorgeous, look right out of sundance, but only cost $14.99!).
This Carry-on:
A fold out makeup bag with handles and zipper (it's green with purple swirls). Looks kinda vera bradley, but in a good way.
the kenzie wedges, in hopes that they will get the burgundy ones in and i can exchange:
and i am contemplating a super comfortable pair of circa joan and david black pointy toe heels with brown piping that would be perfect for interviews, work, etc.
From Urban:
this hand embroidered tee was $6!:
earrings like this but with 2 circles and red beads:
a purple silk cami with lace at hte top and bottom that buttons down the back
2 silver record album frames
photo mobile
long silver frame that holds 4 pics
2 pillows in a dusty pink color
this bedding and pillow shams- hard to take a pic of!:
bakers: bronze ballet flats for $10
other than a futon and sheets (and maybe those shoes!) I am officially on a ban.
Went shopping with crystal and esquiress, so I went off the ban today. Back tomorrow...but I didn't buy anything that wasn't filling a gap in my wardrobe and I was super-fussy. I even put down a few pairs of shoes because I knew I didn't really 'need' them although the old me would've bought them up.
Forever 21 (this place is much easier to deal with when there's people with you!)
I liked the embroidery and I think it will look good with cuffed dark jeans. It's nice and warm too.
Multi-stone necklace
I can't wait to start working with this grey fedora!
Arden B.
for salsa.
Ummm and these (for $30!) if the idiots at Robinsons May can find the match to the right shoe on the clearance rack!
I got this shirt I have been obsessed with: And this thingy for my best friend! I am so excited about this because she really wanted it and yesterday the anthro website was sold out. I checked this morning and they had 1, and it happened to be in her size! Woo!
Cat, your two boyfriends t-shirt is so cute!
