why is everything so slow all of a sudden?

hey guys, can you help me figure out what's going on? For the last week or so, the site (forum & the other pages) has been running really slow for me -- it's taking 1-2 minutes for a page to load. I deleted the history/temp files and cookies, but it hasn't sped up at all. I am not having this problem with any other sites. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is it just busy? Thanks.

hey girls - I am not sure why that is and am not having that problem. The site and the forum do not live on the same server, so there is no connection if one or the other is slow. If both are running slow, then it is more likely either a coincidence (and there is something up with both of our hosting companies I'd need to look into) or whatever you're running on is slow for one reason or another. Any other web sites seem slow to you lately?

I've had the same problem - not with other sites though... I went in and deleted my cookies and temporary internet files and it didn't make a difference.  BUT - right now it seems to be whipping along fine.... hmmm...

Yes, right now it is moving just fine.  It wasn't this morning and for the last few days.  Not happening to me anywhere else really.

If it makes a difference, it has been running fine for me all week.  A month or two ago I had the same problems, but I just cleared the history or cookies or something (dc posted how to do this somewhere in this section) and it cleared it all up for me.
