Oh, lord am I ever in trouble! After royally striking out at 3 stores I totally hit the jackpot today! Of the four dresses I tried on, I loved all four! So, now I NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE! Some background: Our wedding is going to be in Portland, OR in late July. Our (very short) ceremony overlooking the golfing green will begin around 6:30pm, hoeur d'ouevres on the veranda, and a sit down dinner in the ballroom. No dancing, string quartet throughout the event. Colors are chartreuse/olive, chocolate brown, and copper/rust. Flower in hair and dangly earrings.
#1 - Henry Roth
($1850 as-is w/out alterations)
#2 - Watters & Watters
($1625 as-is w/out alterations)
#3 - Same Henry Roth dress as #1 but w/out the drop waist. Has an ivory chiffon scarf in back that looks good wrapped around the waist.
PLEASE VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE! I'D REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR FEEDBACK! TIA!
ETA: Both of these dresses were samples and therefore size 10 (I wear a 4) so any wonkiness is because I'm clamped in. Also, 6 inches of length would have to be taken off each.

I think the Watters dress is so different and classy. I love it! It sounds great for the type of wedding you will be having and the sash will match your colors which I love!! It looks fab on you to boot! (plus saving $200 doesn't hurt because that's how much alterations start at.)
P.S. How beautiful would it be to have invitations made with lace and olive ribbon as accents?!?!?!? PM me if you want more suggestions! (I make wedding invites)
I think that the first one is so breathtaking and perfect on you. I prefer that one over the material of the 2nd one. Hopefully you will begin to get a gut feeling about which dress is the "right" one!
They are both so beautiful on you it's hard to decide. But I'm going with #1 for the sole reason that #2 gives off a Fall vibe to me. I believe it's the sash that does it. Since you're wedding is in July I'm going with the more summery feeling. You can't do wrong with either though.

Love, love, love #2, it' a little different and with your color scheme it would look spectacular. #1 is very pretty but it's a little too formal/traditional for my taste...but you should go with whichever one you love.
I know what you mean about it being a hard decision...I think both dresses are beautiful and look great on you (or will look great on you in the right size).
I have to give it to #2 because of your color scheme because it will fit in perfectly and it seems more nighttime wedding to me. But #1 is still an awesome dress...I just fear it won't work with the colors nearly as well.
I love #1, but for some reaosn number 2 is like a WOW. I absoulty love it, but then again it is in fall colors, but I think it would match the atomosphere that you are going for. My best advice is go for the one which makes you feel the most special.
I keep looking & thinking I will make a decision, but i'm so confused!!!! I wish we could see a picture of #3 because i don't think it's getting a fair shot. You look so great in both - I have no clue what to tell you
#1 is still a princess dress, but #2 is so elegant....i am still not voting.....

i can't decide which one i prefer, but you could probably get an even better deal on the watters and watters online. I couldn't find the brand on bridesave, but try pearls place, and also RK bridal carries them, and they match and beat prices and you can order from them. my sister got a great deal on her dress from RK and also on the bridesmaids dresses b/c she ordered them together...
I really liked number two. It's so different, in a good way. It looks very classic and it looks like that dress was made for you! Let us know what you decide!
Wow, I really can't choose -- I love the lace on #2 and they both look great on you. If I had to, I would choose #2 only because, as ritz said, you can probably get that dress for a lot cheaper through RKbridal or Netbride or Pearl's Place. My dress was Watters, too - I love that designer!
