I'm going to Vegas in 2 weeks for my best friend's bachelorette party. There's 10 girls total so it should be a blast...but....I seriously have nothing to wear for going out at night.
My current wardrobe consists of work clothes, casual weekend clothes (sundresses), jeans, cute tanks, etc, but I need some cute and flirty dresses!!!
I would prefer something that I can try on in person, so if you know of any dresses that fit the bill, please list the store. I live in Dallas so basically have every store here except for H&M (sad face---that's another story).
I'm not quite pear shaped, but definitely have a smaller top frame than I do on the bottom and am not comfortable with anything fitting tight across the hips. Also, if you have any tips for Vegas about where to go, where to eat, what to do, etc...that would be much appreciated.
Vegas is a lot of fun. You need to walk around a check out the casinos (I love Cesars, MGM, Bellogio and Luxor for sight seeing.) I usualy see one or two celebraties at the Hard Rock so that's worth a small cab ride. Ghost Bar was fun to hang out and check out the glass floor.
Basically, if you don't have a fun time in Vegas,. it's nobody's fault but your own.
Boots how funny! We are also going to Vegas and I bought the red ruffled dress you posted in black for our trip. Great minds think alike! :)
I think the dresses that Boots and Kelly posted are awesome for nights out on the town. (Kelly that purple dress is gorgeous!)Also if you are going to be spending some nights just gambling/hanging out try Forever 21 for cute tops that you may not get as much wear out of at home. French Connection is also a place I go sometimes when I need cute going out items.
If you have a chance catch a Cirque show while you are out there. They are so fun. I also like the Hard Rock, the Palms, Bellagio. A friend just came back and said the new Aria, hope I spelled that right, is really awesome.
I just got back from Vegas on Thursday. If you can wait, I would shop there if you have time. The fashion show mall has so many stores that you could find almost anything. Also, the Premium outlet mall has some great stores.
We stayed at the Aria (next door to Bellagio) and it was really impressive. We also went to two cirque shows this trip and two in December. I enjoyed them all but KA had an amazing stage, Mystere no story but great strength and acrobatic work, Zumanity was interesting and there were a few amazing scenes, and we really enjoyed the Elvis show. If you like Elvis music, you would like the show.
