Hi Everyone! Happy Weekend all! I'm so excited!! I stopped by my local target and they had a few of the Cynthia VIncent shoes out already!! I bought four pairs...I was expecting the leather to look cheapy and PVCish but its not at all; the shoes are awesome! I'd definitely recommend them!! These are the ones I got (and the only ones that were out ;) hehe)
and the wedge in cognac color... and some other things I got recently....
I have had no luck lately, and I've been in the MOOD to buy myself something - a mood that hardly ever hits me. But Costco had Alicia Silverstone's book for $18, so I bought myself that.
I'm so jealous you got the Cynthia Vincent wedges, daisy! I wanted them so badly (and the African/tribal-print ballet flats) and of course, they sold out online right away. I went to 2 Target stores, and they had the 3 pairs of shoes in the line that I was not interested in. I'm really starting to hate these special Target lines - it seems like people go online, buy 10 (pairs), and then sell them on ebay for triple the price. I can never find pieces from the collections anymore. It'll be that way with the Zac Posen line too, I'm sure.
The shoes were totally an impulse buy - I might take them back, since I really have nowhere to wear them.
I got this on sale.

This was my first full weekend off since January! So to celebrate, bought myself sumthing purdy.
the skirt but it's a lighter chambray color.
from Filene's with a coupon. Less than $10! Which is perfect because I always scratch them.
A mesh pan for the grill. God, I love to grill in the summer.
and as part of my dad's Father's Day gift, a butter spreader from Crate & Barrel. We had one when I was a kid and he's missed it ever since it broke 15 years ago. You put part of a stick of butter in it and use it on corn on the cob. The entire family is going to think it's hilarious. I'm thinking of having it monogrammed for him to make it even funnier.
When he unwraps it, he's going to wonder what the heck I got for him at Crate & Barrel. My dad can't cook. When I was a kid, he once made us mac & cheese in a blender. After that, Mom left money for pizza when she went out.
Boots that is a really great find! Your dad will be happy he is reunited with his butter spreader! :) He sounds like my dad. Once my mom was in the hospital and my father made me a frozen dinner. Unfortunately it was still halfway frozen when he fed it to me! LOL! I still remind him of that.
