I loved Kate Winslet. Simple and streamlined. Perfect for a presenter.

I loved that Maggie Gyllenhaal takes chances. I thought she looked refreshingly different.

And I thought Tina Fey looked pretty good too. Especially after that disater she wore to the Golden Globes.

And I thought Kathryne Bigelow looked amazing. Especially for somebody in their 50's!

I watched 'The View' today and Joy Behar said "Charlize was tired of people looking at her beautiful face, so she wore something that said 'down here, here's where the action is.'" Hee-larious.

Meh on Sandra - loved the hair but the dress was too tinfoil-y. Probably beautiful in person but not on TV.

Loved Kate Winslet, Maggie G, Carey Mulligan (daring and it worked).

Helen Mirren always looks amazing. For someone who's kind of a plain jane, she really stands out at these events (in a good way).

Penelope Cruz wears the same shape/cut almost every time. It's flattering and she's always beautiful, but it wouldn't kill her to wear a sheath or something once in a while.

No's for me were Miley (too bustier-y), Katherine Bigelow (too tight), J-Lo (just don't like her), Vera Farmiga (too tableclothy), Zoe Saldana (too muppet-y), Mariah Carey (too Macy's one-day sale).

The thing that bugged me about Miley was that when she was slouched down it made it look like she was trying to catch her top with her boobs, like she was afraid her top was coming down.

I thought Robert Downey Jr and his wife were too cute as well. I love how they always seem to go together, without looking like those family pictures where everyone is dressed the same. They always do something a little more creative.

I loved Kate Winslet as well. She has really found her style and seems to always get it right.

the only dress that really caught my eye was maggie's since it was so different from what everyone usually wears to the oscars.
