I got a question from a buyer on ebay, I was wondering if it was someone on here? They asked if I had a picture of the shoes on my feet? If that was someone on here, could you let me know?
ETA: Oh yeah, it was an auction for Prada slingbacks
ETA (2nd time) - I didn't want to offend the person, if it was a legit request to see how the shoes fit. But I have to ask you all...don't you think it is odd? At first, I just thought that the person wanted to see them on my feet to see how they fit, but the second email they sent me was kind of strange. Am I just paranoid thinking that it might be someone with a strange foot fetish?
Hmm...I didn't see the e-mails, but it could be someone with a foot fetish. I hear that people buy used socks and underwear on Ebay due to fetishes. What did the 2nd email say? Depending on what the second email said, I would just give the buyer the benefit of the doubt and figure they wanted to see how they looked on an actual person. I mean, when I buy shoes at a store, I like to try them on to see how they look on my feet. That being said, I would NOT take a picture of them on my feet. I would just reply with, "Sorry. I don't have a photo of the shoes on my feet. I am listing them as unworn and don't want to give anyone the wrong idea." If you are listing them as used just simply say you don't have a photo like that. I think people need to realize that with getting a good deal on ebay, you give up stuff like getting to try things on and returning things.
Unless it was worded in a creepy way, I don't see the problem with this request. I like to know what a shoe looks like on a foot from the top and from the side. if you can find a picture online of the same type of shoe on a mannequin foot, use that if you are uncomfortable photographing your foot.
I recently sold a pair of red strappy sandals on ebay and I included a picture of them on my feet, and they were sold as "never worn" because I had never worn them on the street and had no scratches on the sole.

I wasn't selling them as unworn. They are used. I just got a creepy feeling from the emails. I had my husband read them and he said not to respond. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't someone on here and perhaps I just totally mis-interpreted the emails.
