Question for ebay gurus...I am bidding on concert tickets that have a reserve price.  I'm currently the highest bidder but the reserve hasn't been met yet.  If I increase my bid enough to meet the reserve, will my bid be increased by just the incremental amount to get to the reserve?  Or will my bid be increased to the total amount that I'm willing to bid?


I know in normal bidding situations, a bid is only increased to go just higher than the current bid, but I haven't been in the situation where I'm the current high bidder but just the reserve hasn't been met.

If your new bid is above the reserve price, ebay will automatically bring you up to the reserve.
