I have some metallic gold strappy's already & I'm debating whether I should buy pair below in gold or silver. I haven't seen a lot of hype on silver metallics, & have no idea what I would wear w/them.
Silver still seems very 'wedding' or 'dinner ball' to me. At the same time I'm afraid to pass them up and end up buying a silver pair later when I could have saved my bucks for something else.
I cant see the pick. In my opinion silver shoes are as versatile, if not more so than gold shoes. I would wear them with pretty much anything you would wear gold shoes with. The reason I prefer silver shoes is bc most of my jewelry is silver. I am self concious that gold shoes and silver jewelry would look weird.

I like silver because it looks good on my skin tone. I have blue eyes, pinkish skin, etc. I wear both silver and gold though because I like them both. I find that I prefer gold for sexy, bare sandals, and prefer silver for flats or shoes with more leather on them. Personal preference.
I love silver shoes! I have 4 pairs of shoes in a silver tone, and they all get worn. I think silver complements a cool-toned wardrobe, while gold looks better with warmer colors.

hey bargainqueen - I love both silver and gold, and think they can be worn the same way, just with different things. I think silver looks great with turquoise or chocolate brown, for example. Either silver or gold could look great with a peachy coral... lots of choices!
So you don't have to choose - get both, and have fun!

Get both! I have these two and I have been living in them since the weather allowed!
these two have almost single-handedly gotten me through every single date, night out, and social event this year. As some other girls said, silver goes well with cool tones and gold looks good with warm. I have been wearing a ton of white with turquoise/silver or green/silver lately, and gold/pink or gold/purple.
