(because he always teases me about eating very methodically, one thing at a time)
My parents found a picture I painted when I was little (of The Little Mermaid's wedding). I loooved it and had it up in my room for the longest time. They had it framed for me and now it's above my mantle . My parents also got me some Lancome makeup and a puffer coat, and a framed picture of my grandpa and a family friend who passed away a few years ago.

I must have been better behaved than I had thought, because Santa was very good to me this year! Some of the highlights were:
One of my SILs bought me this panini pan set because up to this point I've been making them with two frying pans and a tea kettle filled with water. This set is so much better!
Her husband (my brother) bought me a gas monitor for my grill, because I am always running out of gas while grilling.
My other brother gave me the Crate & Barrel creamer & sugar set I really wanted. They no longer have it on the site, but it's so cute. It's like something you'd find in a dinner, a white tray that holds a small white pitcher and a container for sugar packets. I love it.
My mom got me a new Cubs hat. An old man made fun of my old one (and yes, it was somewhat "broken in") last season. He made fun of it, loudly, for 6 long blocks back to our car. I needed a new one. I wanted one with a retro feel and she hit it on the head, so to speak.
My other SIL gave me a reusable take out cup because she knows that part of the fun of getting coffee to go is the cups.
The funniest gift of the day was from my dad. He bought all the girls sport snuggies, because we're always so cold. It made for some great photos.
A new TV (in October), an oval baking dish, gift card to Target, 2 offset icing spatulas, a little dip bowl, a paper shredder, an immersion blender, and a wine opener.
Bloomie - I love your camera! I got a pink Canon for Christmas last year, but the color of yours is so much brighter and prettier!
