what to wear on an airplane?

I will be on one this Friday for about 30-45 minutes to El Paso. I usually wear slacks beacuse from there we get on the bus to Mexico which is a good 5-6 hours. But this time when we get to El Paso we will be staying the night and maybe even Sunday. What would be a good outfit to wear that doesnt look too bum but not too nice?


And since Im on the topic....what should I wear on the bus. Keep in mind it can get hott but maybe a little chilly on the bus.


I will be taking this jacket so maybe something with this....

I flew into El Paso and drove down to Mexico this spring with my SO.  I noticed everyone is severly under dressed there -lots of jeans, flannel (it was cold), and cowboy hats.  I wore lots of jeans and plain tops (think college wear) so I wouldn't stick out (which I definately would have if I wore something remotely fashionable). 


Just wear jeans and casual tees.  You can throw  the blazer on for warmth where there is A/C.

I wear my fake pashmina over a fitted tee and jeans or slacks. if its hot you have the tee shirt and then the shawl to rest your head on or if its cold you have the shawl to put over you like a blanket or a wrap.
