Ok - I know I hardly ever post here ( I usually just hop on and check out the awesome stuff you all get every weekend!!)  but I have a question that I am SURE you girls can help me with.


I was just flipping through the new Lucky last night and saw the article on red heels and thought to myself "hey- I have red heels that I have never worn!"  here they are:



I bought these on clearance and just never found much to wear them with.  So my question is, what color combinations do you all like with red and are these strictly a fall shoe or are there outfits I could wear them with now?  I would wear these only when going out, probably with jeans and a "going out top" or maybe with black gauchos (if it looked OK).  I know you girls can help me out with some cute outfit ideas so that I will get some use out of these shoes!  Thanks in advance!

I don't think that red shoes are for fall only (as it stands, this is the July issue of Lucky, which is the big summer issue). As far as color combinations, here are some that I like with red:



  • Aqua and red

  • Pale Yellow and red

  • Purple (or lavender) and red

  • Light blue and red

  • Sage green and red

  • Brown and red

One combo that I really don't like is actually black and red.  It reminds me of when I was in high school and college and everyone would wear their red 'going out' tops with their black pants or skirts when they went out.  I'm not a fan. 


Anyway, no time to post outfits now, but I'll try to later!
